The Committee has received an appeal in writing against the deduction of points given to The Doverdale Arms and Workies teams following their match on 18th December 2024.

As per rules 2.1 of our league rules this appeal has been submitted within the 7 days of the offence and with that in mind we have an obligation to consider the appeal.

I therefor feel it justified to call a full committee meeting which includes all team captains or another team representative to attend this meeting.

The letter of appeal will be read out at the meeting followed by a discussion on the subject by all members present before a vote on any proposals made during the meeting. The chairman and both captains of the two teams involved will not be allowed a vote on any proposal put forward but in the event of a deciding vote being required then the 3rd member of the executive committee, who is neutral in this issue, will have the casting vote.

The meeting will be held at The Doverdale Arms on Sunday 26th January 2025 at 11.00am.
